What Are Veneers?

Preparing Your Teeth

In order to create space and have the veneers fit securely, your dentist will reshape the surface of your teeth. Removing and trimming the enamel will require numbing the area.

Making an Impression

Next, your dentist will take impressions of your teeth to create your permanent veneers. It can take around 2–4 weeks for your permanent veneers to be ready. In the meantime, temporary veneers will be applied and worn.

Bonding Your Veneers

To achieve your desired look, your dentist will examine the fit and color of your permanent veneers and make any necessary adjustments.

Once satisfied, your natural teeth will be cleaned, polished, and etched to prepare for bonding. Your new veneers will then be cemented to your teeth.
